We believe

The Bible is the inspired Word of God.

It is God’s revelation to man and is called the Holy Scriptures. It is profitable for doctrine & practice
and it is able to make you wise unto salvation. Christ frequently appealed to the Scriptures.

One God in three persons:

(Father, Son & Holy Spirit) ( Matt 3: 16-17, Romans 8: 9, 1 Corinthians 12: 3-6,
Ephesians 4: 4-6, 1Peter 1: 2, Jude 20-21.)

The Person of Christ – His Deity:

‘Great is the mystery of godliness, God was manifest in the flesh’ (1 Timothy 3: 16, John 1: 1,
Phil 2: 5 ? 11, Hebrews 1: 8, 10-14, Isaiah 7: 14; Matthew 1:23, Psalm 102: 24-27 / Hebrews 1: 8, 10-12,
Isaiah 6:1-3 / John 12: 41, Isaiah 8: 13 ?14 / 1Peter 2: 8.)

His Humanity:

‘…and when he had come as a man in His external form, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to
the point of death even to death on a cross…’ (Genesis 3: 15, Isaiah7:14, Hebrews 2:14, Hebrews2:17,
John1:14, Galatians 3:16.)

His Virgin Birth:

‘Behold a virgin shall conceive and bear a son..’ (Isaiah 7:14, Genesis 3:15, & 9:6, Matt 1:18,
Luke 1:31-32, Hebrews 7:26.)

His Impeccable Life:

‘…who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners and made higher than the heavens.’
(Hebrews 7: 26-28, Acts 3: 22, Philippians 2: 7-8, Hebrews 2: 17, John 8: 46, 2 Corinthians 5: 21,
1 John 3: 5)

His Vicarious Death:

‘Christ died for the ungodly’ (Romans5: 6-8, Isa 53: 5 ? 6, 10, Psalm 22, John 10: 17-18,
1Peter 2: 24, Hebrews 10: 12, 1Timothy 2:5-6)

His burial & bodily resurrection:

‘…He was buried and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.’
(1Corinthians 15: 3-8, Acts 4: 12, Acts 17: 18, 31, 1 Corinthians 15: 12-20, Luke 24:45-46,
Acts 13: 33-34, Romans 1: 4.)

His ascension and exaltation:

‘Who is gone into heaven and is on the right hand of God’. (Luke 24:50-51, Acts1: 9-11,
Romans 8: 34, Hebrews 9: 24, Ephesians 4: 8-10, 1Peter 3: 22, Ephesians1: 20-21,
Philippians 2: 5-11.)

The total depravity of the human race:

‘All have sinned and come short of the glory of God’ (Roman 3: 23, Genesis 6:5, Romans 5: 12,
Job 15:14, Job25: 4, Psalm 51: 5, Galatians 3:22.) Salvation by grace through faith in Christ
alone without works ‘If by grace then it is no more of works. Otherwise grace is no more grace’
(Romans 11: 6, Ephesians 2: 8-9, 2Timothy 1: 9, Titus 2:11, Titus 3: 5, Acts 16; 31,Romans 10: 9,
1Peter 1: 5.)

Responsibility of believers to live lives worthy of the calling to which they have been called:

”Walk worthy of God who hath called you unto His kingdom and glory’ (Ephesians 4:1, 17; 5:2, 8, 15;
1 Thessalonians 2: 12; 4:1-7; Romans 6:4; Colossians 1:10; 1 John 2:6)

The personal, imminent pre-millennial coming of the Lord for all believers:

‘I will come again and receive you unto myself…’ (John 14: 1-31, Thessalonians 4: 16-17,
Philippians 3:20-21, Titus 2: 13, 1 Thessalonians 1: 10, 1 John3: 2, Hebrews 9: 28, Revelation 22:20.)

The Priesthood of all believers:

‘..And has made us Kings and Priests unto God ..’ (Revelation 1: 6; 1Peter 2: 5 & 9, Romans 12: 1,
Hebrews 13: 15-16.)

The responsibility of local Churches to observe all things:

‘And they continued steadfastly in the Apostles teaching..’ (Acts 2: 41-42, Matthew 28: 18-20,
Revelation Chapters 2 & 3, 1 Corinthians 11: 23-26, Acts 8: 36-37, Acts 10: 47-48.)

Everlasting conscious punishment of those who reject the gospel:

‘And in hell he lift up his eyes being in torments..’ (Matthew 5: 29-30, Matthew 8: 12, 2 Peter 2: 17,
2 Thessalonians 1: 6-9, Jude 13, John 3: 36, Luke16: 19-31, Revelation 20: 11-15.)

The eternal security of all those who are saved:

‘I give unto my sheep eternal life and they shall never perish.’ (John 10: 27-30, Hebrews 1: 14,
1Peter 1: 3-5, Romans 8:31-39, 1Corinthians 12: 13, Ephesians 1: 4, John 5: 24.)

Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me.” John 14: 6
